Why are you using the CAPTCHE in Support Forum? Is it to stop unwanted threads? - YES IT IS!

    Hi

Why are you using the CAPTCHE tool? Is it to stop unwanted threads? Although effective it is annoying!

Can you not make a list of accepted users, paid subscriptions, and use "If Then Else" to attach the CAPTCHE to?

    Thanks!

    Robert

Nevermind, I think you're referring to the captcha field in the support forum. :)

Anyway, you're right. We've been constantly receiving fake posts and ads in the past months and unfortunately until this present. This forced us to add a captcha verification to deter bots that are dynamically posting spams in the forum. Just like you, we also hate captchas but I'm afraid we can't remove it especially during peak hours which we get higher visitors as well as bots.

Alternatively, if you want to get direct support, you can also contact us via email at support@jotform.com

    Thanks for your understanding.

You're right, Robert. We decided to remove it.

I guess the real people behind the bots are taking vacations too, lol.

Anyway, happy new year. Cheers! :)
