    Dear JotForm team,

we would like to enable our users to confirm to us with one click that their submitted data is correct. For a submission of this form, the desired result would be that the box “5. Confirmed by customer” of "Booking Status" (hidden field) is checked after the customer clicks on a link of our email.

So my question is if it possible to create a link like https://www.jotform.com/edit/40652415804955?input_177_4=checked that we can sent out to our users for the described purpose?

    Thanks!

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Cheers,

    Chris

    Hi,

It is possible to pre-populate a form field via URL.

Please have a look at the following URL.

    https://form.jotform.com/63491990515968?select[1]=true

    select[] is the field name.

    true means "checked".

You need to find form field name. You can do it with Inspect tool of your browser (Open your form on the browser, right click and Inspect). Please have a look at the following image:

In this case, I have a checkbox list with three items. Select is the name of the checkbox form field.

In other words, select[] is the name of checkbox form field, not q3_select[]. Please copy the word only after sign.

Select is an array: select[] and it starts from zero (0)

    select[0] means a.

    select[1] means b.

    select[2] means c.

This is also my demo form as I shared above.

You can create your own URL according to your needs. When a user click that link, he will see your pre-populated fields first.

If you need any further assistance, please feel free to let us know.

    Thank you.

Hi Olivia, I would perform this action AFTER form submission. So I basically want to edit a form entry / checkmark by clicking a link. Is this also possible?

    Hi

This could be possible by putting the prepopulate checkbox field on the Thank You page after user submits your form. Or you can also add an edit link on email notifications after the user submits your form.
