    Date formatting

    Asked by Rev_Zareh on May 21, 2012 at 02:48 AM

    Each time I have a form submitted, the date format changes sporadically from

    " Thursday, July 05, 2012 6:00:00 PM"

    to

    " 9-8-2012 4:00 PM"

    The format I would like to see all the time is "weekday, month, day, year, time" as shown in the first example. It helps me keep all the forms organized. I am not sure why it changes with each submission.

    Hi Rev,

    I have applied it to your wedding date on this form https://www.jotform.com/13515133349, can you please check?

    You only need to add this parameter tag ":l, F j Y \a\t g:i A" to your date variable, for example:

    {weddingDate} should now be

    {weddingDate:l, F j Y \a\t g:i A}

    You can find more information's about this here: https://www.jotform.com/help/68-Using-Dates-in-Email-Templates

    This will be the result:

    Let me know if you need further clarification. Thanks!
