    Fillable Grid Format

    Asked by jryan on May 21, 2012 at 12:11 PM

    Greetings  - I need to be able to have a section of a from that can be filled out in a grid format. Essentailly, I will need 20+ listings that have the same 6 charactristics, and I don't want to make 20 listings of each of the 6 characteristics. It would be nice if I could have something like the screen shot.

    Thank you for contacting us.

    It is possible to use form Matrix field with Text Box inputs to achieve something similar.

    To increase the size of Matrix Text Box inputs I have injected the following CSS Code:

    .form-matrix-values .form-textbox {width: 90px;}

    Where 90px is size.

    Form example: http://form.jotformeu.com/form/21417287704353

    It is also possible to Clone that form.

    Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you! This should mostly work. It's not possible to have different field types per column (ex. Text, Dropdown/check box/radio)?

    Also, when I copied the CSS code and inserted where instructed, it didn't change anything in my matrix. I tried changing the px width, and it didn't do anything.

    Please provide the link to the form you're working on so we can check why the codes provided by my colleague does not work for you.
