Why do dates not enter (sort) correctly?

    So, for the most part, I love your forms.  Forgive my rant, but the genius you have poured into the REST of the website would seem to be more than adequate to solve this problem...

    When I ask for Birth Date on the form, it translates to "MONTH DD YYYY".  That doesn't even work (sort) correctly on your own Submissions page, much less on an exported spreadsheet.  The reason I went with a form builder is to save time.  Having to manually input commas in each date after I export the data seems like such a waste of time!

    How do I fix this?

    Helo;

    We apologize for the inconvenience caused.You should use the "Hint" feature. That will show up in a light color by default and become invisible when the user clicks on the form. Here is an example:

    After downloading your submission records and trying to sort the Birth Date field, I see what you mean. I will submit a ticket and hopefully we can get our default Birth Date Picker fields to automatically insert a comma after the day, as highlighted below, in submission records as well as email alerts:

    January 19, 2012

    However, preliminary tests indicate that Date Time fields (which are output in a different format: 01-19-2012) would be a viable alternative while we sort this out (no pun intended).

    A ticket about this request is still opened. Our developers will updates us once this get fixed or they do have any development about it.

    I would like to use your service. actually i'm using allready one form in real life and would like to upgrade.

    but if your forms are not able to save a correct date-format in the database, this is an k.o.-criterium for me (and surely for many others!). i need to sort my entries by date!

    if your developers are not able to save a correct date-format in 5 months, then you should tell them, that this is a critical problem.
