Form Theme: Embedded form shows unsecure stylesheet error in the browser consoleAsked by snaplash on December 27, 2016 at 10:34 PM
Can someone give me a fix for @import url(http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Dancing+Script:400,700); being included in the auto generated code from super-nova theme.
I didnt even choose the super nova theme for the form:
Its included here:
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<link rel="alternate" type="application/json+oembed" target="_blank" href="https://www.jotform.com/oembed/?format=json&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jotform.com%2Fform%2F63423617411954" title="oEmbed Form"><link rel="alternate" type="text/xml+oembed" target="_blank" href="https://www.jotform.com/oembed/?format=xml&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jotform.com%2Fform%2F63423617411954" title="oEmbed Form">

I was using the mild theme from EltonCris the problem is that it is calling the font via http and not https
If you want to use Google Fonts, then you can follow this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/100-How-to-Use-Google-Fonts-in-your-Form. The @import in your CSS code is not correctly formatted.
If you are referring to: <html class="supernova"><head>
Then that is not the theme I believe, the class "supernova" is a general use. All forms have that in the back-end code.
If you are getting errors in the browser console, this is because the @import is not properly formatted, here's a screenshot of it:
Please refer to the guide I mentioned above on how to properly use the @import CSS function.
Let us know if that helps.
No, unfortunately it doesnt. The code that is generated shows the request to google as http not https.
apologies - I had tried to fix the http reqest by injexting custom css, i have removed it now
Everything I have seen on JF is https and the code and font that is listed was not chosen by me.
I didnt add the code below. it is added dynamically. And whether you know it or not, google is pushing secure content pretty hard. As I said, everthing that I have seen on JF is https, why this code isnt, I dont understand.
my website is snaplash.com and I am moving to https and although there are issues with mixed content as i move to https,, this is one that I dont have control over.
I could really use a fix to get my 'lock' in the browser bar.
I see, I was able to replicate the problem by creating a new form and applying the "Mild" theme by Elton.
Here's my test website: https://shots.jotform.com/charlie/ssl_error.html.
Here's a screenshot with the error in the browser console:
Let me forward this to our back-end team to have it checked and fixed.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
Thankyou, its appreciated
I updated the Mild Theme and get rid of the unsecured font URL.
Please re-apply the theme in your form. This should fix. it.
I have reinstalled the theme but unfortunately it is still showing http not https.
I removed the theme, then saved, then applied the blank theme, then re-installed mild. I am having the same problem though.
I did clear the browsing data etc, just cant seem to get it to change.
I could not seem to reproduce the problem.
Have you tried removing the installed theme first?
Try to remove it first then re-install the theme.
If that doesn't help, switch to the default theme first
Then apply the mild theme
Let us know how it goes.
This is the form I have been working on specifically.
It wont change. I have set the form to default like you instructed, but cant get rid of the http.Could you please help me, not sure what to do next.
A thought, the original thread that I added to was by someone based out of Europe, I dont suppose the changes were made on those servers only?
