V4 Builder: Question properties text fields loses focus on autosave

    Hi there,

    I have been trying out the V4 Form Builder UI and quite like it overall. There is one aspect of it that is extremely frustrating though, which is that if I stop typing for even 1/2 a second while typing in question text, values text, etc., the autosave feature causes the form field to lose focus, and I have to re-click in the field and try and type whatever I was trying to type, as fast as my fingers will move so as to not get 'unfocused' out of the field again.

    If at all possible prior to rolling out V4, please either increase the AJAX autosave delay to every 20 seconds or some reasonable period of time to pass in between typing each word or sentence, or implement a re-focus in the same field, in the same place within the response.

    Great work overall, but this is something that really detracts from the current (beta) user experience with the V4 builder.

    Thanks for sharing us your experience in using the JotForm Buidler Version 4. Unfortunately, I cannot replicate the issue you are having about the autosave causes the form to loose focus when you stop typing a question text or values text etc. for even a second. I noticed that when you type a question for example, the aautosave allows you to finish before it autosaves.

    Hi Chriistian,

    My apologies for leaving out one key detail: this occurs in the Question Properties sidebar, to the right, not in the main portion that you recorded a screenshot of above. btw, how did you do that? Pretty nifty.

    Thanks for the clarification. I was able to reproduce the problem. The auto-save clears the focus on text fields in question properties.

    I have now escalated this to our developers. We'll let you know once this is fixed.

    About the GIF image, we used 3rd party GIF recorder tool. There are plenty apps you can find in Google but I find the following really easy to use.

    Thanks for this bug report. Our developers took care of this problem. Now you can freely continue to write on focus and we can continue to auto-save without obstructing you :)
