Why does a submission made from a preview window go against the monthly limit?

Yesterday I realized that every time I opened a form I was working on in a new tab in my browser counted against the monthly views limit. Opening in the preview window does not decrease this limit.

In that logic, I tried a submission from the preview window but I found out this action went against the monthly submissions limit.

Should not this affect the submissions limit since it was a test like previewing a form?

    Hello,

Unfortunately, actual submissions will be counted towards your submissions limits. If you want to test your notification without being counted as submission, just click the "Test Email" button in the notification wizard.

With regards to the form views limit, maybe you have previewed the form on another browser? Or perhaps loaded the form in the new window several times? I'm afraid this would count into your views limit. However, previewing the form in the form builder should not make any changes in your views counter.

Anyway, I have just cleared the numbers in your counters. It should be okay now.

If we can be of further help, let us know.

    Hello, Elton,

Yes, I was opening my form in another tab in the same browser. Then I realized it was decreasing the views limit. Now I leave it on the preview window.

About the submissions, I thought it would not count if I was submitting my form from the preview window. Your answer is very clear and helpful on this topic.

    Best regards!
