Paypal Pro still takes me to regular Paypal page

Asked by martharob on January 11, 2017 at 05:51 PM

I have PayPal Pro and was able to set it up, but even though I have Pro, it still takes me to a new PayPal page (like regular PayPal). What am I doing wrong?

    Hi,

The Paypal Pro payment field has to payment options, it's either you pay via CC within the form or pay over Paypal. When you select Paypal, the form would redirect to Paypal page. This is how Paypal Pro payment works.

Thank you! My apologies--I misunderstood this part in your support article.

While Paypal Pro allows the user to enter his account information on your website or directly from your form. The form visitor will never have to leave your website.

    Hello martharob,

If you add a PayPal tool in your form: When the form is submitted, you are redirected to PayPal checkout page where users need to settle the payment.

If you add a PayPal Pro tool in your form: Users can directly input credit card details in form. When the form is submitted, the payment is processed. That's what it mean "The form visitor will never have to leave your website."

User will only be redirected to PayPal checkout page when users want to pay through their own PayPal account and select "PayPal" payment option as displayed in the screenshot below:

Hope this answers your query. Do get back to us if you have any questions.

    Thank you!
