Work with MailChimp?Asked by Karen on May 29, 2012 at 08:01 PM
As a web & print media business owner, I am wondering if MailChimp works with JotForm - or if JotForm works with MailChimp?
Rather than using mailchimps built in subscription form, can I set one up with JotForm and use a API key for MailChimp to make it availabel on my wordpress website?
Please advise in detail ways MailChimp and JotForm can work together.
Thanks so much.
JotForm does work with MailChimp. Our MailChimp integration works in a way that the Name and Email Address entered in a submitted form will be added to your mailing list.
In a nutshell, this is how it works: MailChimp sends your newsletters, while JotForm is responsible for your subscription form which is connected to your MailChimp account. You can then easily embed this subscription form on your WordPress site.
Our MailChimp integration wizard will guide you through the set up process.

Thank you for the reply.
Please tell me more information.
Can I use JotForm for ALL my subscription & unsubscription boxes/forms and then use MailChimp to have people subscribe and un-subscribe?
Can it work to have groups or different mailing lists? Or only 1 mailing list per form.
You can use your JotForm based forms for subscriptions, but each form should be integrated separately. As far as I know, we do not support unsubscribe functionality.
Currently it is not possible to work with MailChimp groups via our MailChimp integration, however, we have added that to our feature request list. At this time you can have one mailing list per form, but still you can connect several forms to one mailing list.
Please feel free to contact us if you need any further assistance.
Update: We have just implemented Groups integration for MailChimp.
When you select a list on the MailChimp wizard you will now see a list of groups:
That's pretty much all you need to do. Select the groups and then when someone submits your forms they will belong to that link and those groups.
