Form on iWeb problem - Form not found: Form Id is missing or irregular

Asked by SteveDown on December 18, 2010 at 09:44 AM

The form i created is this here

    http://www.jotform.com/form/3501305054

    <script src="//www.jotform.com/jsform/3501305054"></script>

It functions fine on the jotform site in test and preview, send mails to all the accounts but when pasted as discribed in the listed section on here: http://www.jotform.com/help/12-Adding-Form-to-an-iWeb-Page

it still fails to send from iWeb.

I can get it up displayed ok in iWeb, complete the form ok but when i hit submit it fails to send and keeps the submit button displaying "please wait"

It is hard to say anything without seeing the page.

Try deleting the form code (HTML Widget I believe on iweb) from the page, and re-adding it.

If it still does not work, try the iframe version of the code.

Here is how you can get it. Open your form on the Form Builder:
    1. Open "Setup & Share" tab on toolbar,
    2. Click on "Share Form"
    3. Click on "Advanced Options"
    4. Click on "iFrame Code".

    neither option works.

I can no longer get the form to enter into the error page, after i click submit it just says please wait.

Should I have to publish the website first??

I'm currently only 70% completed on the site so i'm testing it before it replaces our current web page.

Iframe code shouldn't have that problem. I really have to see it before I believe. Iframe code works from JotForm site within the iframe so there is no way for it to conflict with anything on the site and just say "Please wait".

One possible reason is that you are clicking submit button while you are on the iweb editor. Can you publish that page to your site and try submitting the form there?

If it still does not work please post the URL of that page and I will take a look.
