Internet Explore Known Issues?

    Hi,

I've developed a form with a lot, lot, lot of conditional logic.  The form is working fine on several of our computers, running Internet Explorer 11.09xxxx version.  However, one of my users selects her email address: dfallucca@gsscpa.com from the dropdown menu and no additional fields show up for her to continue with the form (one new question with "What type of opportunity is this?" should appear if the email field is populated).

Do you know of any common Internet Explorer issues that might block the correct functioning of conditional logic based on an individual's browser settings or similar?

    Thank you,

    Janette

    Hello Janette,

I just checked your form on IE11 and it works fine. Can it be possible to be a browser cache issue? You can try deleting your temporary internet files and try again.

If the problem persists, please let us know.

    Thanks.

I tried to clear the cache and all temporary files – can it be a Javascript or other plugin error? Her’s is the only computer behaving that way so far, so I need to get some idea to our tech support people of what might be a catch with Jotform – we sometimes have a strict Firewall, so I’m not sure if information might be blocked or cookies or other?
    Thank you,

I did some research and noticed that if I set my IE browser to run in compatibility mode, it will not work.

This is not a recommended setting to run your browser in compatibility view, but it might have been turned on for some reason so please check it.

Now if there is a checkmark next to the Compatibility View then you are running it in compatibility mode.

Most of the time this does not resolve anything (the compatibility mode). What it will do is just accept smallest possible amount of code to run properly and reject other (deemed as unnecessary by the browser itself).

Please check if it is in compatibility view and let us know of the outcome.
