Hi there i am creating an order form using Jotform. is there a way to allow the user to enter a quantity and have the system calculate the total rather than having a dropdown with quantity values? I want user to enter "A" quantiy and multiply it by the price of the item to come up with the total?

I understand quite well your point. And I think it woud more practical. Unfortunately,we currently don't have such option available.

However , I think this is a good feature to add to our nice to do list , so let me forward your request and hopefully our development team would add it in the future.

I would like to have this feature too :)

It would be very handy because you can show the customer the end price for his selection in the thank you page or summary before clicking "purchase".

For some of our services we prefer cash instead of credit card and we want to make sure the customer knows the final price before clicking purchase

eiermann: The original poster is asking for something different. What you are asking is currently possible. Simply select the payment field on the Form Builder and then choose "Show Total" on the toolbar.

    Hi,

To add a quantity option to your items, open the the Payment's Tool Wizard by clicking on the wand at the top right corner of your payment tool field:

    1

Click on Next on this screen:

    1

On this screen choose if you are only selling one item or multiple items, then click onnext.

    1

Click on Add New Option  on the item you want to add the Quantity option.

    1

Select the Add Quantity Property, If you leave the Custom Quantity option unchecked, the user will have to select a quantity from a predefined drop-down menu. If you do check the  Custom Quantity option, the user will have too type in the quantity they wish to purchase. Click on Next to continue the setup.

    1

This is the window if we leave the Custom Quantity option unchecked. We can click on Next once we have the quantity list configured as we want.

    1

Once you´ve setup the, quantity, click on Save Product, then proceed to click onNext on the following screens until you've completed the wizard, you will need to click on Finish to complete the setup.

Once we are done we will have a quantity option under our product.

Is is possible to add a donations add on to the items purchased? I've set up my products (registration types) with their associated costs using the tools above, but I also want to give the option to add a donation to their "order" before calculating the total, but I get a message that only payment field (reg fee) is allowed per form. Is that possible?

@MCAMF - I'm seeing you have another thread here https://www.jotform.com/answers/1162261 where you asked this same question. To avoid confusion and to give way to the OP of this thread, we'll reply to you on the thread linked above.
