Hi --I see from this thread:  https://www.jotform.com/answers/324931-Target-open-link-in-same-window-cannot-save-TEXT-field   that the issue still remains!  I can do any number of tricks to remove the target="_blank" attribute, but whenever I save my form, it REAPPEARS like magic.  I really need the link to open in the SAME page, so if you have any advice that works, I would appreciate it.  If necessary, could I use some javascript in the text element to remove the attribute?

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to open the link on the same page through the Text field. The "target=_self" will be ignored automatically. As you can see, the options available in the Text field when inserting a link are "None" and "New Window" only.

You cannot insert Javascript in the forms using our Form Builder. If you want, you may download to form's full source code and create a custom script that will achieve that function. Here's a guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/104-How-to-get-the-Full-Source-Code-of-your-Form.

    Hope that helps. Thank you.
