    Feature Request: AWeber Follow Up Message

    I found these instructions on AWeber's website about using my own form (from JotForm) for an AWeber Autoresponder. I'm wondering where I go within JotForm's coding to make these changes.

    You can create a form with Jotform and integrate it with your Aweber.

    Simply go to Setup & Embed > Integrations > Enter your Aweber username/password .

    I tried that but it didn't work... I did a test submission and it didn't show up in AWeber as having ever received it as a "subscriber".

    Ok, but now I have nother problem...

    I created my list and follow-up message in AWeber and integrated it with JotForm. I tested out everything: filled out the form, checked my email, clicked the confirmation link, and I can see myself as a subscriber (in AWeber) in that list. However, I did not receive the follow-up email after I confirmed the form submission. 

    I asked AWeber and after they went through everything, they said "It seems like there is some kind of setting within that app (JotForm app) that is causing you to be added with the last message number as 2... if you had a third message, it would trigger that one to go out based off of the interval set for the message..If anyone is added to the list though another method, though, they would get the first 2 messages... I would suggest contacting them (JotForm) and explaining that your app (the JotForm app) that is adding subscribers to your AWeber account is not setup to start with the first follow up message."

    Please help!

    This is probably done on purpose to not send follow up messages when you import old contacts from submissions.

    As far as I understand, you can change the message number manually in order to send the follow up message.

    Please note that I have created a feature request ticket to add an option to send the follow up messages.

    We will update this thread once we have any news for you. In the meantime, you may try the workaround with changed message number in AWeber.

    Thanks, Mike. Just changed it (did a search by email instead) from 2 to 0. I haven't received the message yet, but I'll keep you posted.

    I have a work around for this now. Just make an identical coppy of the first follow up message and the JotForm api will send this second one. Works fine :)

    A 'Start at message' option has been recently added to our AWeber integration. Now you can use that option to specify the start email number when you setup the AWeber integration.

    Set the 'Start at message' to 1 to start from the first email in your followup sequence. You will need to redo the integration if you would like to use this new option.
