    Auto Select Radio Button

Asked by youthencounter on June 06, 2012 at 10:21 AM

Is it possible to have an option of a radio button list auto selected based on a querystring paramater?

I know I can autofill a text field, and I know I can choose a selected value when setting up the form, but I'd like to select a value based on a querystring.

If I'm not mistaken, preselection of radio buttons should be done in a similar fashion as check boxes. Please see the last part of our guide titled Prepopulating the fields to your JotForm via URL parameters. However, I'll do some tests just to be sure.

Thanks. I had tried that and couldn't get it to work, but it looks like the issue is my options. They contain space and other characters. I've tried to urlencode the space and comma, but no luck. I'll see if I can figure out what characters are causing the issue.

Looks like it's the comma I'm running into issues with. I guess I'll have to remove the commas from the options, which shouldn't be too big of a deal. Thanks for the help.
