Can I use a querystring value to preset a drop down list selection?

I'd like to append a name value pair to the querystring of my form's URL, and then use that value to preselect a drop-down list item.  I do this with a manually created form now using server side script, but would like to move those forms to Jotform.

Is it possible to interrogate the querystring when the page loads, and somehow preselect an item ijn a drop down list?

Hey Dave, use our Prepopulate App to get the URL with the parameters needed to preselect an option within a Dropdown Field.

Here's a quick demo form https://www.jotform.com/70316678839974?dropdown=Bravo with a single Dropdown menu that preselects Bravo.
