Is anyone else have compatability problems between the Square Payment applet and Internet explorer>

Asked by fackovec on February 03, 2017 at 11:37 AM

    Good morning!

I have had about 12 Jotforms online for 4 months, and the Square payment applet was working fine. About a week ago, I started to get complaints that clients could not enter their cc info into the applet.

I verified it, and it seems to be an issue with Internet Explorer (V11)- I've tried it in Firefox and it works well.

Now here is the strange thing- I thought to try it on my laptop at home, in Internet explorer (also V11), and it works correctly every time.

I suspect that there is some setting that the hospital has on IE or it's firewall, or etc... that is causing this-

Any ideas? It is really a big problem for me.

    Thanks

    Hank

(PS other then the payments not working- I LOVE JOTFORM!!!!)

If I understood you correctly your clients are not able to enter credit card details in Square payment field of your form.

I have tested your form in Internet Explorer 11 and I was also not able to replicate mentioned issue. I was able to fill all fields.

I have also tested your form in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Edge and it is working correctly.

It is possible that some settings on your users end are blocking them to enter credit card details, like firewall. The issue may be occurring due to any restrictions in the network or perhaps by anti-virus. You can suggest them to check with their network admin if there is some issue or suggest them to use different browser.

In case that your form is embedded, please provide us URL of your webpage.
