Form Offline

    Hi there

Is it possible to use an offline version of the forms?  We sometimes have problems with internet connections & at point of 'submit' we lose connection & therefore lose all of the information.  If we could do it offline this would be prevented. Alternatively if you can come up with another solution that would be great.  We were thinking of taking a screenshot or saving the document prior to hitting submit but just wondered if there is a more convenient way of doing things?

    Thanks,

    Anna

    Hi Anna,

Offline submit is unfortunately not a feature that we are able to implement. When the form is submitted the data is redirected to a domain called submit.jotform.com. Since this is the case offline working on a live form is not possible.

However, you can add a "Preview Before Submit" widget on your form as a precaution. It'll be a last indicator of stable internet connection. When someone hits the preview button, whole data is loaded on a new screen. If it loads it's ok, you can get a better screenshot. I know this is not a real solution but it's the best workaround I can think of right now.

    Thank you for contacting us!

    Kind Regards
