Form times out when submitting

We are having alot of trouble with the site timing out when we have several people filling out and submitting at the same time.  For our small re-enroll form it hasn't been too big of an issue although very annoying...however, I have been creating an online registration form that is fairly lengthy and involves uploading birth certificates and immunizations.  If a parent gets all the way through this process and then can't submit this will be a problem, especially since the only option will be to start completely over.  What can I do to fix this?

There should be no issue with multiple people filling out the form at the same time.  Thousands of people could be filling it out at once and the form shouldn't skip a beat.  If you would like for us to check a form, let us know which form is causing trouble and we will take a look.

If you change your file upload fields to allow for multiple uploads, users will see a progress bar on the upload field to ensure they complete uploading of files before submitting the form.

You can also use save and continue later which may save users data if the submission does not complete:

Though this does require setting up a second form and may still be cleared by the browser when the form is submitted, even if the submission was not complete.
