    Why edit submission action is not triggering email on Zapier?

    Hello! I have a special question...


    I made a form which is triggered by zappier (it makes a draft in google mail). It works fantastic,


    So when I get my email response after someone filled out the form, everything works fine. 


    When I edit it (by the link at the end of my autorepsonder email), I also get the edited emails from jotform.


    But it doesnt trigger zappier.


    My idea is: Its a booking system for a studio. If I want to give them a better price, i edit the form, then he get the autoresponder email from jotform, but I dont get my triggered zappier-email to google mail...

    In this google mail i have my conformation infos incl. all form field infos I asked for (adress, time etc). I use this to send it to my customer as a confirmation...

    I hope my explanation makes sense...

    I have checked the Zapier that triggers to Gmail, for example, and noticed that it only sends when a new submission happens, there's not an option at the moment to trigger the Zap when the submission is being edited and I have tested it so I can confirm it. 

    Here's a screenshot of the setup page when creating the Zap:

    What you could do is to integrate your form with Google Spreadsheet and then use this to trigger the email from Gmail or the Zap you're using, Google Spreadsheet will allow you to trigger the Zap when adding a new or updating an existing record.

    Thanks so much! I will try that!


    i almost managed to build a full booking system with jotform! Just awesome!

    All i need would be a jotform google calendar widget which would show busy dates (and non busy dates - synced with a google calendar). I hope some day someone will make this for jotform. Right now my customers have to look into another calendar, look for a free day and then choose this date in the datepicker.

    It works perfectly now with the other zapier script via google spreadsheets
