Ticket Purchase and Gift registry widgets

Asked by Knoxsports on February 19, 2017 at 08:21 PM

Hi, I have been using Jotfoms as a method to register people for clubs.  I wanted to limit the number of people to 22 but unfortunately in the popular clubs we went over.    In one case 39 were registered instead of 22 and in another 25 instead of 22.   Is this because registrations were very popular and the site was hit multiple times at exactly the same or similar times and the counter didn't have time to process.  If so, do you perhaps have a workaround?   I have attached the submission time list so hopefully you can understand what I am talking about.   Thanks!

    Hello,

I'm suspecting that the form was loaded on their pages with the quantity set to be the same. Since the validation on this widget is purely front-end based, meaning it will only validate based on the current value set on the loaded page and there is no quantity validation process upon submission.

This means if two browsers loaded with an item set on the quantity left to 1, so long as it it loaded on their page with that value, it will still submit.

Perhaps you can try the Inventory Widget instead?

    Thanks.
