Your system is inaccurately calculating basic math for tax. In my screenshot the subtotsl is $65. and my tax rate is 8%. 8% of 65 is 5.20 not $6.00. The calculation behind your code is wrong its not giving the right answer. See screenshot attached.THIS IS A HUGE PROBLEM.

I'm afraid you accidentally sent us an incorrect screenshot so I checked the actual form https://www.jotform.com/70520866195157 and did exactly as how you described it.
Here's how it looked like from my perspective:
Can you please check it again? The computation should work properly. If you're still seeing it differently, send us a screenshot by following the guide I'm linking below. Don't reply via email, open your thread by clicking this link, then post your reply and screenshot from there.

Instead of calculating tax at the discounted price the tax calculation is being calculated at full price i.e. ( Let's say I have a $25.00 off discount code/coupon and am applying a discount to an item priced at $100. The tax rate is 9%. it's calculating the tax at full price which in this case is $100.00 and not $75.00)

@exoteric - To give way to the OP of this thread, I moved your post to a separate thread https://www.jotform.com/answers/1097487
We'll have it addressed there shortly.
