    Hi

I am seeking to create a form  which  takes data such as prices and send these to the form to perform calculation and display email responses to customer.

This way I am hoping to  not have to maintain the prices  on the form when changed in the website CMS, thereby avoiding having price data in two places and possible having issues if not updated on jotform also.

whats the bets way to achieve this?  I was looking at parameters but is there any plug in that would manage an inventory which connects to the source for the data.

    Thanks

    Hello DPCREATE,

You can send data to your form via URL parameters. This way, your fields shall be prepopulated without any manual input.

It is unfortunate however that your inventory on your form is not possible to be managed from a 3rd party source. You will have to manually setup your inventory on your widget. So if you want to control the price and the inventory of your items, I believe the form calculations widget and other fields is the way to go.
