First question: I assume you can not use conditions to hide/mask part of a matrix ?
Second question: Per the form above you can see there are several options vertically that have assigned values to them. We would like our client to be able to select which options they would like a quote for. Based on those selections we would like to have another hidden field or even a second matrix that then has these calculated values (Hours*value for product) The hours field is a previous question and is the same regardless of the option they choose after they have chose the hours. The only way I have found to do this was to create another matrix, then create a conditional between the 2 matrixes with a formula. This would be very time consuming to do with what I need to do. Is there a better way to set this up?
As you see for the moment I have it set up to simply enter the total separated by a comma which for me works however we will have to present the end result to the client and be able show what total is associated with what unit and this method will not work.
Thank you.

1. Yes, that's not possible. You can only hide the entire matrix field not a particular field in it.
2. That's actually a good way to calculate two fields from different matrices then output it on another matrix field.
Alternatively, you can eliminate conditions using calculation widget as the output field.
Example: If you'd like to calculate the party van
1. Add the form calculation widget into your form
2. Create the formula by inserting the fields
See this screenshot:
Hope this helps!

After I put in all the time for all the conditions I have no realized that at the end we need the client to make a choice on which choice they would like. For instance if they got a quote on 3 units and decided on one I need them to be able to select that unit as well as pull over the total of that unit. Do you see any way in which I can do this?

@lansingparty
Sorry, I am a little puzzled with your last concern.
You mean to say that after they selected 3 checkboxes in the matrix field and decided to get only one out of the 3 later on, you want its data to be sent? Note that all the selected data are sent so there's no need to change anything on that.
If I have misunderstood your question, would you please elaborate it further? If you can provide an example, that would definitely help.
Thanks.
