    Hi there,

My name is Amanda Badillo & I work on Upwork as a freelance writer. Two days ago now I was offered a position to write for this company express writers but first I had to fill out an application. I did fill out the application which asks for a W-9 & photo ID. Now it is a day later and his account is suspended, upwork believes it was due to a phishing scam but they are waiting on their account security team to verify that. I contacted express writers and they said they have nobody who works for them under this guy's name. He created this form by using your company, I only know this because it says so in the link to the form. This is the link:

If you are able to provide me with either a name to this person or some sort of clarity on if I just got scammed that would be great because I'm heading down to the police station today.

    Thank you for your time,

    Amanda Badillo

Thank you for reporting this. Unfortunately, there is no name mentioned for the account that is associated with this form. However, I can say that the user is from Kenya and the account seems to be a phishing account. I have now suspended the account and the form or its data is no longer accessible. The user will not be able to login again to this account.

    Thanks!
