Found some suspicious code auto-inserted into my form, what is it?

Asked by altontoth on January 02, 2011 at 01:33 PM

So. After MUCH frustration whenever I encounter this (usually have to delete the form and build it again), I've found the following code. _I_ didn't put it in there, so I can only assume that either 1)JotForm is inserting malicious popups, or 2)Someone hacked JotForm at one point, and got it to insert that code. I discovered this in my HTML box, by clicking on the code button. What's going on JotForm?

It looks like you accidentally copied this from a web site. It has links to Google, Urban Dictionary etc. I doubt, it is a malicious code.

Problem is all my forms are composed from scratch. And it's pretty malicious when it pops up and you have no idea how to get it to go away.

Copy the code to a text editor first and then remove all the code that was accidentally attached to it.

Or use a different browser to copy your form code.
