    Is there a way I can update the responses on forms but keep the previous versions of the answers?

    Asked by katecquinn on June 27, 2012 at 02:10 PM

    I am an personal stylist and have created a form to use with new clients that includes all of a clients typical information address, sizes, etc. but I also create a list of shopping needs.

    As I work with a client, their needs change - but the rest of the information does not.

    Is there a way that I can reuse part of an older (filled out) form and update as necessary?

    You seemed to have added a lot more functionality to the site, but I haven't seen this.

    Let me know if I have missed something or if there is a way I can do this.

    Thank you!

    Katie

    Hi;

    To allow users to edit the form after submission you can use the {edit_link} tag within the Auto Responder email.

    First you need to create an Auto Responder then add the {edit_link} variable in the email's body. Once a user submits the form they will receive an email  which contains a  url link to the pre filled form. If they click on the url link in the email this would open up the form with pre filled data and they can modify/update their answers.

    For more guidelines, check on this previously answered same question on our forum;

    Hope this helps let us know if you have clarifications.
