I have a form which utilises the upload a file tool. It then embeds that file to specific dimensions into a notification email. It was working fine.
I then createed a new form to use the save /session feature. The img tags dont seem to work anymore. The file is geting uploaded, or saved at the end of each page, and they are visible if I log in to jotform and check submissions. But, they are not showing up in the notifications email anymore.

I think this new form is a clone of another one. In that case, you will need to update the tags or placeholders for the pictures in your notification emails.
It is quite a daunting task, understandably because your form contains a ton of upload fields. However, that is the only viable solution because you have made drastic modifications to your form's notification template.
Let us know if you have follow up questions with regard to this issue.

Hi Neil, thanks for your response. The embed tags haven't changed, I have just had a look. The form is not a clone. The thing is if I fill in the form in one go (without going away and coming back later using the session link) then the pictures come through on the notification. If I fill in a few pages, close it and come back later, the images are still showing to have been uploaded in the form but do not come through on the notification email.

Thank you for provided details.
I was able to reproduce the problem, and now I have forwarded it to our Development Team.
As soon as we have any news we will update this thread.

Thinking about it, I suspect the absolute path is not being given for the embedded file, only a relative path, hence when the relative path is changed such as when a session is inserted into the URL, it causes this issue.
Should hopefully be easy and quick to amend from relative to absolute URL?

You are welcome.
I hope it will be easy to fix for our Developers. However, I can see the absolute URL during my session.
If I misunderstood you, please let me know.

Hi Mike, just a hunch and it was completely wrong cos when I check the source code of the notiifcation email there is no mention of the IMG at all in the html... IMG tag is completely missing... Will pateintly await the fix :)

Yes, I have noticed that 'uploads' are missing from custom Notification Emails that are related to 'session' based submissions.
We will keep you updated :)
