How do I add a (x) (close window) button in my lightbox/popup form?

    Hi there,

I just created a popup form using the Starter (free) account and I'm very impressed. However, I want to be sure that my users can close the popup form if they choose to ignore it.

Also, if the form has already been filled out, it'd be nice if it didn't pop up again for the user.

I saw at 2:50 in the instructional video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=172&v=8tbe7MHTdeY) that there's a way to chose when to show the popup, but I do not see such options when I'm logged in to my Jotform account.

May you please help me to ensure the popup form I embed on my website can be closed and not frustrate my users? My plan is to embed it so it appears as soon as they access our website. Here's an example for you of what I'd like to do: https://www.graybarcanada.com/

    Thank you!

Our Lightbox pop-up embedding option has the close window X icon. You can also enable the 'Open on Page Load' option.

There is no built-in option which can show the lightbox only when the user visits your website the first time on a specific browser session, but it might be achieved with a bit of custom scripting.

Thanks! I notice in the Customize Lightbox area it has a Form Dimensions section, which is defaulted to 700x500.

I wonder if that's fixed and if it may be a problem when viewing the form on smaller devices like smartphones and tablets.

Thanks for your answer btw, very helpful, Mike!

Our lightbox embed method is already optimized for mobile devices. The height/width inputs in the Lightbox settings are for the desktop view. If you are having issues with the mobile view, let us know the URL of the website so we can check and investigate the problem.
