Trouble saving fields

The field entries in second page of the form don't save. I closed the browser tab and then reopened a new one, but the data had disappeared. It does save however if I click "Next" to the next page, and then close and reopen the browser. Is this normal?

Are you using session method to save form data? 

How to Save Forms and Continue Later

If so, your form is working properly. The progress on each page will only be saved when the "Next" and "Back" button is clicked.
