    Hi

    We have a form http://form.jotformpro.com/form/21827847427968

That we want to send an autoresponse only after the form has been edited by us. Ie the forms requires users to fill in information - this information is then reviewed by us. To approve the request we fill in the password in the managers approval section ( currently set to 123) and the select the approropriate conditions.

The problem however is that we do not see the autoresponder email after the form has been edited - it works perfectly fine if the conditions are met in the original submission.

It is possuible to get a conditional autoresponder to work on a form edit submission?

    Thanks

    Rob

    Hi Rob,

There should be an edit_link in the form to allow editing

Please try adding the edit link in the autoresponder, and review the from procedures.

Inform us if you have further inquiry.

    Thanks.

    Hi Jonathon

Thanks for your reply but it think we are talking about different things. I can edit the form after it is submitted but the conditional autoresponder doesnt appear to work on the edit - it seems to only work when the conditions are meet during the original submission.  Something that will never happen as the conditional autoresponder should only work when the form has been edited by an adminstrator after the form is originally submitted by our users

    Thansk again

Hello Rob.  Just to confirm, you are correct.  Edited submissions do not send an email autoresponder to the person's email address anymore. There is however a way how to do this but will require some programing skills on your part.

First thing you should know is that if your web host can send email scripts.  Next, you can try using this user guide on how to insert submitted data to your MySQL database.  Then take advantage of the condition that if the MySQL script initiates an update, add there your mailer script to send an email to the email address submitted.

If you need further clarification, please do let us know.

    Thanks.
