    Hi,

I have edited my subject line on the notification email a couple of times to try to correct what is happening in the 'New Listing Form' but I can't seem to get it to stop adding "Street Address" in the subject line. All my other forms display exactly what I want except this one form. I've attached a picture of what I am receiving.

I want the subject line to read "New Listing Form | 111 Pine Street".

NOT "New Listing Form | Street Address: 111 Pine Street"

    Thanks!

    Hi McKenzie,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. After checking your form, I have seen that added the address field for your subject line for your notification email. If you want to format the address field without the headers in the notification email, you’ll have to remove them. It’s just a small trick. Please follow the steps below:

    1. In the Form Builder, go to the Settings tab.
    2. Click Emails on the left.
    3. Hover your mouse to the notification email template, and click the Edit (pencil icon).Subject line in Notification email Image 1 Screenshot 40
    4. In the Email tab, you’ll see the address field and all other form fields. You will have to remember the unique name of the address field, which you will see enclosed in the curly brackets. In the below image, you’ll see it as {address}. It may be different in your form.Subject line in Notification email Image 2 Screenshot 51
    5. To choose what specific part of the address you want to display in the email alert, you can append the following:
      addr_line1
      addr_line2
      city
      state
      postal
      country

So, let’s say you want to fetch the City in the address field, then you can append it like {address:city}. If you’re going to get the State, you can append it like {address:state}.Subject line in Notification email Image 3 Screenshot 62
    6. Save the changes by clicking the Save button, and test your form to see the final output.

That's it! You can also do this to your subject line to remove the headers in the address field.

Give it a try and let us know if there's anything else we can help you with.
