Hi Jot form,
When user picked a date from the 'date picker', time would appear as 'current time'.
Shouldn't the time field be left empty, since user did not input value for time?

Hi Jot form,
Inorder for you to better understand the issue. I have carried out test based on both url that you have provided. In both cases I have left the time field empty. However, the resulted time field on the submission file is the default 'current time' when the submission was made.
I use this link http://www.jotform.me/form/21728798706468, and This is the submission result ==> https://dl.dropbox.com/u/19788145/207513585291482111.pdf
Then I use this link http://www.jotform.me/form/21728798706468, and this is the submission result ==> https://dl.dropbox.com/u/19788145/207513592291651253.pdf
Can you help to rectify this problem.

I can't seem to reproduce the problem here. When you left the date field unfilled it should show like this:
Can you please check your email if you've received the same? I've added your email on the recipient's list.
Kindly retest and let us know if the problem still persist. Thank you!

Hi Jot form,
I received the email.
Seems that the issue only appear when using the date picker.
Current time show up, after selecting the date. Anyway to leave the tme field as blank, since this is not input by the user.

Thanks for your update. Yes, unticking the default time should solve it.

Thanks for your quick reply, I appreciate it.
Seriously, like what I've explained earlier, I can't reproduce the problem on my end. Can you please give us some specific steps on how to replicate this problem?
Can you also try it with this form? http://form.jotform.me/form/21880967745468?
I just created few tests right now but still can't get the said problem.

step 1. Select the date picker on right. screen 1.
step 2. Click a date. Date and time will appear on the respective fields. Date is according to selection, but time value is current time. screen 2.

My bad, I wasn't able to get it on the first place. I just reread your question and was able to understand everything, my apologies.
Sorry though as that's how it works for now, but you can edit it as well since it's a textbox field. You may also removed the time field if there's no use for that. Or remove the time field and replace it with Range Field.
Check this: http://form.jotform.me/form/21880967745468
Hope this works for you. Again, apologies for my mistake. Thank you for your explanation. Have a great day!

YES, this is what I need! I am gald there is an althernative :)
One more question:
How do you modify the range field to show as 'HR' and 'Min' as in your link Range Field.

Sorry for my late reply. The sublabel is actually editable, you just need to click on it to edit.
Glad you like the alternative solution. Thanks! :)
