Asked on April 20, 2017 at 09:07 PM

Hi there, I have set up my jot form (https://form.jotform.com/71097189083161) with conditional redirects.

    They are the following:

    - When plan type = 1 and service type =1, redirect to https://twy90874.infusionsoft.com/app/orderForms/be5bc23c-d990-46af-a50d-93b302ae5036

When I submit my form with these conditions met, it just hangs on this page: https://submit.jotform.us/submit/71097189083161/

What exactly am I doing wrong? I saw this question here with a person having similar issues: https://www.jotform.com/answers/1124653-Problems-with-re-direct-page-url-not-working-when-conditions-are-met#4

    Thanks

I cloned your form (https://form.jotform.com/71097189083161) and I was able to replicate the issue on my end. The redirect to URL base on the condition seems not to be not working. I will escalate this issue on our development team for further checking. Rest assured you will be informed in this thread if ther are updates.

    Regards.

    Hi there,

As per further checking, this is a duplicate thread of https://www.jotform.com/answers/1125060. My colleague seems to be able to solve the problem you have there. Please try the suggestion of my colleague and let us know on that thread.

    Regards.

Hi Christian, thank for your response. I did try those recommendations that your colleague provided with no luck. This is the video I recorded: http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbfrikXQHB

I will try again tomorrow, however, I can't get this to work for the life of me.

I checked your form and I couldn't find the URL you mentioned, I only saw this:

I tested the form by using the link you provided and it worked fine:

Here is how the link should be inserted:

Please check and let us know how it worked.

    Thank you!

Hi there, I am now trying to redirect to this url: www.mobit.com/lite1 but I am having issues still. I really don't know what I am doing wrong. I am running an incognito window, cleared cache, and have tried all three browsers: chrome, firefox and safari.

When I manually type my redirect URL, I get the following pages when I submit my form:

This is the URL I get directed to: http://https%3a%2f%2fwww.mobit.com%2fpricing

Why is it formatting my URL like this?

Hi there, I have just tried for the last 10 minutes to get this to work again on 2 more computers with no luck. I really don't know what I am doing wrong - I have tried everything.

Could you please help me to get the conditional redirects I have set up in this form to work: https://form.jotform.us/71097189083161

No matter what I do, I get the above errors as my URL's get all messed up.

    Thank you.

I was able to see the issue you were referring to. After submitting the form, it was not redirecting to the assigned custom URL base on the condition rules you have setup.

Here is a video of the test that does not redirect...

But this is not a bug. It was not redirecting because the target URL website page actually does not exist. It has a 404 Error which means page does not exist.

    This URL https://www.mobit.com/enterprise3 for example.

Please make sure first that your intended redirection URL were working. The conditions should work once you have corrected this.

Let us know if issue persist.

Hi Jonathan, yes, I haven't set the webpages yet but I assumed they would just redirect to the 404 error page?

The problem is that even when a put a valid URL, https://www.mobit.com/pricing I get the same problem as you recorded in your video. It hangs on the blank page and does not redirect. Please see what I have set up below. You can test the form to see this happening.

Thank you for your help, however, I still don't know what I am doing wrong, or how to fix this. I am getting really frustrated.

    Thanks

Additionally, the reason I am so confused is that we I do not include a path in the URL, all these conditions work. For example, if I change the redirects the www.google.com, www.facebook.com they work. As soon as I add a path i.e. www.mobit.com/pricing, they seem to break.

I still could not reproduce the issue at this time. I cloned your form and did a test on my end.

The Conditions redirect URL is working just fine.

here is a video when I test...

the latest URL you mentioned https://www.mobit.com/pricing was also not working when I test on my end. Please try test it again using a working URL.

Let us know if still not resolve.

Hi Jonathan. I just tried again but am still having the same issues. Please watch this video I recorded: http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbf3r3XXcy

I don't know what I am doing wrong? I am really incredibly frustrated. I don't know why it works when you set it up as per your video. I am doing the exact same thing as I showed you in my video?
