Pending Submissions

Is there a way to auto-complete pending submissions? I have no idea why this is happening on my forms but I don't want to have to log on every day and manually complete submissions. My customers expect their confirmation email right away.

    So a couple questions...

Is there someone I could actually speak to about this? Or is this forum the only way...

Is there a way to make it to where I never have pending submissions, or a way to auto complete them?

Unfortunately, we don't have a phone or chat support. However, you can reach us here in the Forum Support which we reply in a timely manner.

There's no way to auto-complete pending submissions. This will let you investigate why the user cancelled the submissions. This happens when someone fill up your form, clicked the Submit button and then closed the browser after seeing the PayPal login form, that becomes a pending submission. There is no way for your to get paid for a pending submission by clicking on complete button. Here's a guide: How-to-view-incomplete-payments

Hope that helps. If you have questions, please let us know.

Actually, I check PayPal and I receive their money so I don't understand why sometimes it does pending submission and sometimes it doesn't.
Literally just happened again today where a cline recalls says they paid but didn't get a confirmation, I checked and it's under pending. Then I check payday and before I confirmed the submission I can see their payment in PayPal.

Make sure you have IPN enabled in your PayPal account:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/276-How-to-Enable-IPN-on-your-Paypal-Account

If this is enabled and you are still receiving incomplete submissions, your users may be timing out when submitting the form and payment.  If the notice from PayPal is not sent after the payment is completed, it results in the payment being marked incomplete even when sent.

If you see a large amount of these submissions and IPN is enabled, let us know and we will be happy to look into this further.
