PDF Report: Manually added text does not keep format when downloading report as PDF.

I have worked with PDF submissions before in Jotform without issue.  Currently I am working on a new form and have added a text box in addition to the standard buttons on the PDF submission form set up.  The issue is that the text I have added, while it looks like it's properly formatted on screen, when previewed/printed, the formatting disappears.  It's one long run on paragraph...

    Your help is appreciated!

I tested what you described, I changed the fields in the PDF Design:

I changed only the color of those fields and then I downloaded as a PDF:

    But it looked the same.

What changed did you do in your PDF Design tool so we can try to re-create the problem?

    Thank you!

Thanks for your reply.  I think there's a bit of confusion with my issue. The formatting issue is related to the additional text added to the PDF submission form set up.  Below the JotForm pre-populated fields (which appear correct!), I had added in some text, a few paragraphs of terms/conditions associated with the activity being signed up for.

You can clearly see the text in both screen shots provided, and the difference in it's appearance when previewed.  The formatting of the text (i.e. space between lines primarily) seems to get lost...

Apologies for the inconveniences this may have caused to you.

I have checked your form and I can see what you're referring to, I can also see the same on my end.

In the meantime, I would suggest you to add the text using the "Text" field on the form builder since it will keep the format.

This guide will help you to show the text in the PDF report: https://www.jotform.com/help/305-How-to-Show-Headers-and-Text-in-the-PDF

I will also report this to our second level so our developers can investigate and resolve the issue, we will let you know as soon as we receive any update about it.

Thank you.  I will await a response from a developer at second level.  The form itself is perfectly set up, it's just a matter of formatting of text on the PDF.  I have never had this issue adding text to the PDF copy in the past.  Perhaps there's a bug.

Looking forward to hearing from a developer about the issue.

    Thank you for your assistance.
