Asked by amitchell on July 10, 2012 at 07:55 PM

I believe we used to be able to do this.

I want to be able to clone an email from the email alert section, however cannot see any way that you can do this (without going in and copy the code)

Is this possible as I want to keep the formating and it will be a big hastle to create a new

    Thanks

    Hi,

To my knowledge, the only way to do this is the copy/paste method that you mentioned.

In the compose email editor, you can view the html code of the email by clicking on the HTML source editor button

The html source editor dialog box will open, and you can now copy the code.

BUT you will have to understand that this is copying...not cloning. It can probably work on the SAME form only. But not on another form because the field IDs/Names could be different already.

Hope this help. Please inform us if you have other inquiry or need assistance with Jotform.

    Thanks.
