MailChimp Integration: Unable to forward Birthday to MailChimp

    Hi, I have integrated a mailchimp form that has fields

     

    first name

    last name

    email

    date of birth

     

    I have added same fields on my form.  Howevr when doing the integration match fields only gives option full ame and i can only select first name or last name.  Please advise

    Hi there,

    Instead of the Short Text Entry fields for First Name and Last Name, you can instead use Full Name field so you can map it to the field in your MailChimp account.

    If I use the full name field, what do I map to in mailchimp as I have a first name and last name field in mailchimp

    The integration will automatically separate the details for you from the full name field. In the integration, the full name field will be mapped as a whole, but you will see it in two different columns in your MailChimp list.

    This DOESN'T WORK..... First name fills imports correctly but the last name is then left empty. Why is this so hard?

    Hello,
    The mailchimp integration is not working for me. I have re-created a new API key and re-authenticated and still nothing is being added into mailchimp

    The issue is related to the Date Picker field on your form, it cannot be mapped to the Birthday field of MailChimp due to different formats of those fields. I have added a ticket to see if this is something that can be improved.

    The workaround that seems to be working is to use a Fixed Format widget field on form to map it to the MailChimp Birthday field.

    We have fixed the bug reported in this thread.

    You may now map JotForm's date picker field to MailChimp's birthday field and the data will be sent without issues.
