Why does only half of my form show on my Joomla site.

    HI,

    I have taken over a web site that uses one of your forms.  In absence of the login information to access the form, JotForm support advised me to set up a new account and import the existing forms.  I was successful at that task.

    After making most of the necessary changes to the form, I attempted to install it on the existing Joomla 1.5 website.  The problem is that only half (vertically) of the form shows up.  The whole form is there from top to bottom, but not from left to right - only the left 1/2 (or so) of the form is visible.  I used the 'iframes' method of embedding the form on the page.  I tried making the width of the form wider, but that didn't change anything.  I played with some styles in hopes of making a change, but no success.  I have googled and looked in your forums, but have not found a solution to the problem.  I also tried other installation methods - database and file methods.

    The current form is just the generated code pasted into the article manager, so I suspect the previous developer ran into the same problem I am experiencing. 

    Unfortunately the test site is not public.  Do you know what the solution to my problem might be?

    Hi,

    Sorry for the inconvenience that may have caused. Upon checking your form into your website, I wasn't able to replicate the said issue. Here's a screenshot of your form inside your website. Try to delete your browsing cache and cookies to see the changes of your form.

    HI,

    As I indicated in my original post, the test site is not public.  You can however view the page with the problem by setting your local DNS (hosts file) for oasishottubs.com and www.oasishottubs.com to point to 184.61.207.163.  There on the Grand Rapids employment application you can view the problem.

    I applied the changes to my hosts file as you suggested but I still can't reproduce your issue.

    The form looks perfectly fine on my end.

    HI,

    I am not sure why you are not seeing the site. If you are seeing the test site, You will notice that the link in the top menu says "Oasis Hom" instead of "Oasis Home". Also due to some other testing that I was doing previously, the color scheme is different on the test site than it is on the actual site. If you didn't observe these 2 things, you weren't looking at the test site. Sometimes I change the hosts file but forget to save it or sometimes I have to clear my cache and restart my browser before I can see the test site. There are 3 links to the employment form on the site. The only one that has the new form is on the 'Grand Rapids' location link.

    My bad. I have added oasishottubs.com to my hosts file but visited www.oasishottubs.com.

    Anyway, I was able to see the problem now. It has something to do with the way you styled the table where the form is placed and nothing to do with the form itself.

    To fix this issue, find your site template's CSS file then change the width property of .contentpaneopen from auto to 100%.
