Hello, Ashley. The forms are online pages which allow people to submit information. Web forms or online forms, do not require the receiver to be available to accept the document. When a person visits a page or opens a computer document, he fills it out, and submits without requiring a person to receive it. The information when submitted gets stored to a database for later processing. By way, these forms mimic the filling out of a document which was traditionally on paper and given to the receiver.

This eliminates the manual process of going to a place, filling out a document, and submits it for processing. On web forms, you can be anywhere, just open your browser on your computer, fill out the information, and submit it with a click of a button. It saves time, money, and effort.

If you are the one receiving the submitted information, it also saves you time on organizing received submissions. You can search on your computer specific information without sorting manually from one document to another. A simple key-in on a search field will yield you results in an instant.

Overall, web forms have revolutionized the business processes of many industries where paperwork and documentation played a vital role such as medicine and finance. Web forms has utilized the use of the computer which once could only be done on paper.

Hope my response gives clarification on this matter. Feel free to let us know if you have questions :)

    Thanks.
