    How to get emailed a file upload or link to

    i have a form that users need to upload an excell file.

    besides logging in and seeing the file, is there a way to get a link or attachment of the file they uploaded in the form

    Hello kip. If you have a Dropbox account, you can integrate your form with Dropbox and then make submissions (including attachments) shall be sent to your account.  And if you have the Dropbox app installed in your computer, the submissions will also be downloaded automatically to your computer.

    yes i am aware of this and have this setup.


    however, i also need it to be emailed likei mentioned above.

    I just figured that my answer was off. Sorry about that.

    Anyhow, by default, you should also receive the links to the files that were uploaded via e-mail notification. 

    If you have already altered the content of your notification, you can modify the contents of your notification by adding the form fields from the right panel of the email alert editor to the body content:

    You can place the cursor of your mouse to either the subject or the body of the email content.  Once you have the cursor in place, simply select the form field item on the right to add.  On the sample image below, the cursor is placed on the subject line.  So clicking a form field value on the right panel will have the value placed on the subject line field:

    Or, you can simply delete your old notification and add a new one again.
