We are considering JotForm to collect important family information for the upcoming school year. Once all respondents have submitted their forms, will I have the ability to print a summary sheet by respondent? I do not need a summary of all submissions - just a per-family summary that I can incorporate into their official school file. Ideally I would like the individual summaries to not include blank space where a respondent did not enter information (for example, if they only have one child in the school, I do not want blank fields for student 2-6 taking up space on my summary page). If you can help me see how the collected data will look and how it can be used I would be grateful.

You can print a PDF file of the individual submission. In the PDF, you have the option to show or hide unanswered fields.
I would suggest creating a test form. Add a few fields, headers, text blocks. Fill and submit the form. After that, access your form submissions page:
https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-view-Submissions
To show/hide unanswered fields, you need check/uncheck the Auto Hide Empty Fields option:
To get the PDF file, just click the Get PDF button.
Note that you can also get this PDF as an attachment in the form email that you'll receive once a submission is made in the form.
