Feature request: Ability to Edit a submission a later time without being notified

    Hi,

    I use a Q&A form for my clients to send in questions for a monthly Q&A form.  On the day of the Q&A call, I simply go into JotForm and start answering questions.  When I've answered a question, I "edit" the submission by adding a date (in the hidden field) which is the date on which the question was answered.  Afterward, I can generate a report of all the questions I answered that day to give to my class.

    What I dislike is that when I enter the date, the only option is to "submit" the form when all I want to do is "save" the form.  When I submit, I'm re-sending all of the notification emails to myself again.

    So my enhancement request is to have 2 options available:  "save" and "save and send" after editing a submission.

    If there's a way to do that already, do let me know.  Thanks!

    Thank you for airing your concerns. Personally, I understand where you're coming from. Not everyone would like to receive a notification for even the slightest edit made to a submission entry.

    With that said, I have forwarded a ticket for your request to our development team. We will inform you if there are any updates, although we cannot guarantee if it will be implemented, or even approved in the first place.

    Yeah ... its crazy having to do a submission all the time ... can I second a save button please ... I know of no other form provider who has this approach.

    Can you make it happen?

    We have implemented this method so that our developers will see which feature need to be prioritized with a higher level. I have also updated this thread with same title.
