How do I have the responses for a single choice question reflect specific number values for survey reports?

I have a survey where I have a single choice question with radio buttons to choose from.  For example

On a rating scale of 1 to 5, please select the most appropriate score for this element.

1 - Not addressed or addressed in an unsatisfactory manner.

2 - Partially addressed in a satisfactory manner.

3 - Adequately addressed in a satisfactory manner.

4 - More than adequately addressed in a satisfactory manner.

I need to be able to run a report from the submissions where the response selected reflects a single number value and not the entire text as in listed in the options to choose from.  How do I do that?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to have the report generated using the calculation values of the field itself. However, you may consider adding a hidden calculation field on the form to store the calculation value of the radio button field. You may then generate the report using the calculation fields that stores the calculation values.

Please see the screencast below that can help you with adding the calculation widget to the form and read the radio button value.
