Freshbooks and stripe subscriptions

Hi - I am currently testing the Jotform / Freshbooks and Stripe integrations.

We use Stripe subscriptions in the form. I want to be able to generate an invoice based on the form submissions (subscriptions customers sign up to). The stripe integration in itself works fine, but when I test with Freshbooks (using Stripe Test mode) no invoice gets generated.

The first time I tried the Freshbooks integration with the generating a recurring subscription option. The second time I tried the "Create an invoice" option. None worked. Please advise.

    Thanks!

It looks something has changed with the Freshbooks integration. I see that the integration is not available in the new form builder and also the Freshbooks interface has been changed. Please allow me to check about this and get back to you.

    Thank you for your patience.

    Any news @Kiran ? It's been 10 days...

    Thanks

BTW - can you also tell me if being in Test mode limits what I can test with these integrations, ie subscriptions, recurring invoices, ...etc?

I am sorry for the delay. I was trying to check my existing Freshbooks account. However, the account was expired and unable to use it. When I tried to register a new account, it is redirecting to the new platform. Also, the Freshbooks classic platform uses API key authentication in order to connect with the other apps. But the new Freshbooks cloud computing version is using oauth method to connect with other apps. This might be the reason that the Freshbooks integration is temporarily removed from the integrations of JotForm.

However, you may consider using Zapier to integrate with JotForm.

    https://zapier.com/zapbook/freshbooks-new/jotform/

I have tested with the new Freshbooks using Zapier and I was able to create a new Zap in the zapier without any issue.

can you also tell me if being in Test mode limits what I can test with these integrations, ie subscriptions, recurring invoices, ...etc?

Do you mean to ask if you can test the integration with the Free JotForm account? If so, yes. You can use any of the features with the Free subscription account. The number of form submissions or views or the storage space, etc varies with the subscription plans. You may compare the subscription plans available from the pricing page.

Hope this information helps! Please get back to us if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to help.
