Can I populate a list of choices for a dropdown from another form or source?

I have students filling out a survey to turn in iPads.  I would like teachers to them get onto another form and select the students name and check in the device was actually turned in...  Just a though...

If I'm understanding your concern correctly, what you need to do is have the submission data for the form for students appear in the form for teachers based on the teacher's selection from a drop-down field, is that correct? Also, from what I understand, you would like to have the data to be automatically updated real time. I would like to apologize, however, we don't have that kind of feature in our forms yet. There might be a workaround outside Jotform which will require you to do some coding and may need the service of a programmer.
