Have U.S. State Dropdown show 2-digit abbreviations

Asked by NationalParkTrips on May 25, 2017 at 04:30 PM

I'm using the all-in-on address fields for U.S. addresses. This gives a dropdown for states but it spells the states out. How can I make it post the 2-digit state abbreviations?

You need to remove the State in the Address field properties and add a Predefined Drop-down field for US State Abbr.

To create a new Predefined drop-down menu field and set it as US State Abbr. See image below:

    1. Add a Dropdown field to your form and click the Properties icon.
    2. In the Options tab, select the US State Abbr under the Predefined Options.
