Using email variable in Autoresponder Email with Condition Logic in form

    Hi JF team!

i went into conditions and tried making automated response emails for my clients. unfortunately:

    1. one can only choose between equal or not equal statements; equal and/or bigger/smaller would be a valueble addition.

    2. one can only enter 1 specific email as recipient.

solution: i would like to send different templated emails to the email the client entered in the form. and depending on how many hours the clients requires me as a photographer i would like to send the according email with the appropriate PDF pricelists. better if its even possible to have this automation of replies going with a delay so it doesnt look like an automated response!

    heres my form:

the variable concerned are "Email" (that should be the recipient of the autoresponder) and "Wir benötigen unseren Fotografen für ca. " (Hours of service required - ie. a way to gauge the potential importance/value of the lead)

    thankyou so much team-jotform!!!

    Hello Steve

I think you can achieve that in some way

    1. You can send notifications to multiple recipients

    2. You can create as many autoresponders as you want to and setup conditions based on the numbers of hours chosen

Please check my sample form in order to see how it would work, of couse you can customize it to your needs

    NOTE :

Regarding to automated delay, this is not possible to achieve with Jotform as for now.

I think Mailchimp, Aweber or Constant Contact would make that trick and these services are ready to be integrated with Jotform

Please check our blog for further details

    Best regards

    hi jeanette

i think what you meant to say was:

if i wanted to create an autoresponder to the person who filled out the form, i need to use the field value as a variable?

is it possible to attach PDFs to the notifications?

Yes, that was what jeanette meant to explain. You can use the variable {email} tag in the autoresponder email to send the message to the email address provided in the form Email field.

And yes, you can provide a link to the PDF attachment in the notifications. You will just have the PDF file hosted/uploaded to a website URL where it can referenced by the link.

Here, I made a test of your form. You can test it and you can check the autoresponder message on the email address you will provide. You will notice the link for the pdf file in the message.

Please inform us if this is not the answer you were looking for.
