I have set up a registration form for 8 events on one form. This allows some to come to more than one event. I have a maximum number per event of 25. However if I set that in settings it will calculate the total number of submissions whether there was one attending one event or another. How can I limit the number of people per event in one registration form which has 8 events as individual products?

In this case you will need to add a separate inventory widget field for each event (one widget per event) and sum the total. This way your clients will be able to order multiple products.
